NZ Classic Motorcycle Museum – 75 Haven Rd, Nelson
This was a project that started out as a personal private storage facility that has now grown to become a globally significant collection of vintage and classic motorcyles which is now open to the public and fast becoming a popular New Zealand attraction.
The whole building has been extensively remodelled and re strengthened to the building code. Front façade has changed drastically to create a building with a strong presence on Haven Rd with custom made entry doors. Inside the remodelling continued with creating a workshop space at the back of building which is petitioned off with glass panels and doors to create a viewing area for the public to see mechanics at work. The upper front mezzanine has been future proofed for potential offices and board room facilities.
